At NLCA we believe in tithing and offerings.  The tithe belongs to God and when we bring our tithe it is an act of worship and obedience.  We believe all we have is given by God but the first 10% we are to give back to Him.  An offering is a gift above and beyond our tithe.  We believe that through our obedience God will take care of all our needs.  Giving is a personal and private choice that each person makes.  NLCA does not require or pressure anyone to give tithe or offerings to be part of church life.
